About Eagle Bay
Surrounded by national parks, this pristine bay is widely recognized as one of WA’s most picturesque. As part of the wider Geographe Bay, it is protected from the westerly winds in summer, presenting visitors with a snow white beach and calm turquoise waters for most of the day.
The bustling town of Dunsborough is only a few minutes drive away.
Apart from swimming and fishing, visitors can enjoy the local flora and fauna by taking the bush tracks that follow the coastline to either Bunker Bay, Meelup Bay, or even Old Dunsborough. Energetic guests can walk to nearby Wise Winery and Restaurant.
Most houses are within walking distance of the beach and other Private Properties houses in the area. Keep in mind that local public transport is scarce, and guests must expect to self drive or use the local taxi service. We recommend contacting Lifestyle Margaret River for a stylish and carefree "day tour" of the vineyards.
Other beaches very close by and well worth a visit are Bunker Bay and Meelup Bay. Families will love Meelup, as it provides shady grassed areas and some amenities.
Eagle Bay provides an excellent base for families with younger children who prefer a quiet safe beach holiday with easy access to town facilities. Many of the regions’ top wineries are less than 30 minutes away.
