As pretty as its name sake, “Blue Wren” is a perfectly positioned holiday house in beautiful manicured gardens, which in turn are surrounded by 5 acres of natural bush and timber. If you choose to stay here the most important issue to worry about could be where to relax - the elevated front deck with glimpses of Geographe Bay Waters, the landscaped rear terrace - or even the gorgeous outdoor bath tub? All perfect for viewing the abundant wildlife, native gums and grass trees. It could be difficult!

Inside, the holiday house is well set up for families, with an open plan kitchen, living and dining area which separates the two sleeping wings. One wing has two queen bedrooms and a master bathroom. The opposite wing is comprised of an air-conditioned upstairs rumpus room with tv/dvd and adjoining bunkroom for children. Downstairs is a fourth bedroom with two king single beds, a second bathroom and fully equipped laundry.

Reverse cycle air-conditioning in the living area promises comfort year around, however the additional combustion wood heater is there for those wanting to add some romance to chilly winter evenings.

Both outdoor areas are furnished for alfresco dining, with the barbecue located on the terrace.

Table tennis is available for use in the double garage.

Most will be happily settle in with little wish to move, but if pressed, a leisurely 200 metre walk will take guests to the funky little Goanna Gallery for breakfast or lunch; it’s a five minute drive to the Yallingup Wood Fired Bakery for a loaf of delicious country bread; and less than 10 minutes drive to the town of Dunsborough, Dunsborough Lakes Golf Course, or the surf and Smith’s Beach.

This holiday house is definitely a picture perfect sanctuary for jaded city folk.
